If you have winter toys and tools such as snowmobiles and snowblowers, it's probably a safe bet that they haven't been used in a while! To get your snowmobile ready for storage, ensure you have the right fuel in the tank, lubricate all the parts, clean it, and cover it. Like you clean a snowmobile, give your winter tires a good scrub before packing them away in a storage locker.

When we say dry, we mean dry; the last thing you want is damp clothing going into storage. Next, fold your clothes and, if possible, store them in vacuum-sealed bags. If you don't have access to vacuum-sealed bags, your next best option is plastic storage bins.
Finally, when placing your belongings in a storage unit, be sure to check on them every so often!
